Friday the 13th

WOOOOOOH!  Loved it.  It stays true to the horror genre, you either love it or hate it.  This is not a remake of the original, more like a mix of the movies one through four.  They start off by giving some back story as to where the story started, then they dive right into the improved version of the Jason Voorhees storyline.

They take care of one of the biggest issues most people have with these movies from the beginning.  No more “teleporting” bad guy, this new Jason is no lazy ass.  If he wants to kill you in this movie he will run….your….ass….down.  It was great.  It actually has a creepier look to it when you see him hauling ass towards you.

Besides some over the top nudity this movie is one of the better remakes.  If you liked the Halloween remake then this is right up there.  I think if Rob Zombie would have been involved it would have been even better.  This has to be seen on the big screen, dont wait to rent.   Horrors are meant for theatres.

This was a good movie.  I never felt that what he was doing couldn’t be done.  There was only one out there escape and a one man versus five men fight, but they keep it pretty real.

An ex “preventer” lets his daughter go to Europe on vacation and she is kidnapped and forced into a sex trafficking ring.  He doesn’t think she is cut out for that type of work so he goes to pick her up.  He does some wild stuff on his way to meet her.  I can’t say that this is worth a theatre visit but you shoul definately see this movie when it is available for rent or purchase.
